First Day of School

Can you believe Madeline is in Kindergarten? She started on August 9th and goes to Cleveland Road Elementary. Her teacher is awesome - teacher of the year in the county!! Madeline is doing great - and even rides the bus to school! She's such a rock star. Jonathan is a little bit upset that he cannot ride the bus, but he does get to walk Madeline to the bus stop every morning.

Panama City Beach

We were lucky enough to get some family time at Panama City Beach this summer. It has changed quite a bit since I went there when I was about 12 years old. Many of the the old houses have been torn down and high rises have replaced them. We were fortunate and stayed about 1/4 mile from Pier Park at Calypso right on the beach. Madeline enjoyed the beach, but Jonathan was not fond of it so we spent most of our time at the pool. It was fun, nonetheless.

Madeline's 5th Birthday

Madeline is FIVE! Can you believe it? I cannot. She had her birthday party at PUMP IT UP (jump house). It was a lot of fun and her theme was Princess and the Frog - we've seen the movie several times :) I feel like summer birthday's are a bit challenging, but it worked out. Thanks to Aunt Caroline and Margaret for making her cake. It looked awesome. Madeline got lots of Barbie's and we have a lot of tea parties, pool parties, etc. with them since.
