The Wedding

Except for the fact that it was quite possibly the hottest day EVER, the wedding was perfect. We spent all morning setting up and decorating. At pizza for lunch, decorated some more, the cake was finished, we showered and before you knew it wedding time had come and gone. The reception was perfect and I think it turned out exactly like Bob and Tammy hoped.

The Rehearsal Dinner - Provino's Italian Restaurant

Bob and Tammy got married this past June. Where to start - thank you to my wonderful family - mom was amazing. She did most of work in regard to anything we were handling. And as much fun as we all had I think that we are thankful it is over. Planning a wedding is SUPER stressful, as you know. My awesome cousins - Olanna, Andrea, Rob, Julianne, Alex, my aunts - Janice and Lucy, my Uncle Lu and don't forget my 91 year old grandmother - Babcha came down from Canada. We all pitched in to do decorating, flowers, pictures, and what ever else needed to be done. In addition to those people - Dave and Carey and the kids - I love them. My husband was the best helper/listener/one who takes instructions even if he didn't want to was great. He took care of the kids so that I could help with whatever. And of course Tammy's family. We finally got to meet all of them and they were a great. I especially enjoyed meeting her mom, dad and niece and seeing her boys, Brandon and Austin.

Anywho, here are pictures from the rehearsal dinner...

Madeline - The Summer Sidekick

Madeline has been enjoying her summer with Mrs. Abbi. Abbi was her pre-k teacher and it worked out that they could spend the summer together. They have gotten to do all sorts of cool things - Stone Mountain, Georgia Aquarium, Lake Lanier Islands, many visits to the pool, picking books at the library and they are going to be hitting the Atlanta Zoo either this week or next. They only place I really said no to was the World of Coke - that's only because I've never been there and I need a reason to go. The other place I want to hit - and only because my friend Mandy was brave enough to take her crew there is Six Flags.

Anyway, below are some pictures from this summer:

Not really sure what movie...
Georgia Aquarium (and Jonathan too)...
One of my personal favorites...I believe this is in Old Navy (apparently there was some dancing going on with this one. If you get a chance you need to go back to the 2008 blog and check out the video Madeline dancing in Victoria's Secret - another one of my personal favorites):

I like this one too...This is Bryant, Abbi's husband, being a sport and crawling to see the penguins:

Needless to say, Abbi has been awesome and made life so much easier. Madeline is enjoying everything and Abbi swears she has been acting good as well. One of the best things is that throughout the day, Abbi will periodically send pictures to me and Jeremy via text. We are always interested and excited to see what adventure they are on!!

Just for Fun

These are some pictures from a hot summer Sunday. Jeremy put the sprinkler on for the kids to run through. Jonathan was apparently concerned with safety so he put on his life jacket and got umbrella's for both him and Madeline.
