Summer Hill

This summer we joined a pool - Summer Hill. This is what normally happens to Jonathan when we go swimming...

Madeline does "Magics"

Madeline loves gymnastics. She calls it her "magics." We had her in classes for a while, but the only thing she was really interested in was the trampoline. On a good day, she would try to do the bars and play in the foam pit. But normally we would wind up either watching the older girls practice or we would jump on the tramp. About half way through the season, she discovered the water fountain. So then we would jump, get water, jump, get water, and so on... Apparently jumping on the trampoline makes you dehydrated. Click on the video below and you can watch her do some "magics" at home.

Jonathan has a Tooth!

Jonathan finally got his first tooth! It is his bottom left tooth. You can kind of see it in the picture. This explains all the drooling and chewing on anything he can get his hands on. He will be 6 months old on July 8th and continues to grow like a weed. I gave him his first real food the other day - bananas. He actually shuddered when he tasted it. It was pretty funny. I have also tried sweet potatoes. He eats them, but by the faces he makes I'm not sure he likes them a whole lot.

Jonathan Eats Solid Food!!

Here are some great pictures of Jonathan and Jeremy. Jonathan just turned 5 months and he is finally eating solid foods. So far he has only had rice cereal - not too exciting. I'm not sure how much he liked it, but he is doing better with it each day. At 5 months Jonathan weighes 17lbs. 2oz and is 27 inches long.

A Day with Brendan and Natalie

It is always a good time when Madeline gets to play with her cousins, Brendan and Natalie. Madeline and Natalie love to play princess together. There were several costume changes, but each finally settled on a dress.
The three of them also jumped on the trampoline. I think they would have done that all day had it not been so hot outside. Because of the weather, we decided to go to the pool for a little while. Jeremy was a great sport - he was the only adult brave enough to get into the freezing water.
Jonathan, of course, didn't do anything too exciting. He just chilled with the grown-ups. I'm sure he'll be glad when he can join in on the fun with the rest of the children.
