Can you believe it? Madeline is 6 years old. She decided this year that she was going to have her party at Kidz Doos - basically it a hair salon for kids but they host birthday parties as well. So she decided on a Pop Star party and had the Justin Beiber theme going on. She invited a few of her friends from school and they got their hair and makeup done, and got to dress up. After the party she said "Mom, that was the best birthday ever!"

Principal's Award Winner...

Cleveland Road Elementary had an end of the year awards ceremony. Madeline got the Principal's award! We are so proud of her, she has worked really hard in Kindergarten. I know she will miss Ms. Clarkson who was her wonderful teacher.

First day of 1st Grade!

Madeline started first grade about a week ago. The night before she kept telling me that she wasn't sure that she was ready for 1st grade - very cute. She got the teacher we were hoping for - Ms Harper. I am a bit worried about the homework situation...we have it EVERY night.

Jonathan is also starting K3 tomorrow. I will be sure to post pictures. I am VERY nervous - we are supposed to drop him off in the car rider line and cannot walk him to his room. They do have a "Boohoo" room for those of us parents that can't handle it. I'm going to do my best not to visit!

Summer Time!!

The summer flew by for the kids! This is the first summer both Madeline and Jonathan stayed home together. It was extremely helpful and I think both enjoyed the time off of school and with each other - minus the sibling rivalry.
